Dear friends,
Greetings from WBCC 2020!
The Max Institute of Cancer Care, Delhi, is hosting the first ever all Women Breast Cancer
Congress (WBCC 2020). The conference will be held from 12-13 December, 2020.
In light of the Coronavirus pandemic, the WBCC 2020 will be held entirely online on a
virtual platform.
The theme of the conference is “Breast cancer in 3-D: De-escalation of treatment,
Decoding the aftermath of treatment, and Delivering optimum quality of life through a
holistic approach to management”. The programme of the conference has been carefully
curated to discuss unique, often-overlooked aspects of breast cancer management.
Why an ‘all-women’ breast cancer congress?
The incidence of breast cancer is on the rise both in India and all over the world. India’s
young population poses a new, different set of challenges, with many young women getting
diagnosed with breast cancer. This leads to concerns about work and family life.
The WBCC 2020 aims to understand the issues and concerns of both patients and clinicians.
Although many women are leaders and innovators in breast cancer management, this is the
first-ever platform to bring them all together under one (virtual) roof.
What makes the WBCC 2020 unique?
Who should attend?
The conference offers a great learning opportunity for all budding oncologists, general
surgeons, gynaecologists, pathologists, and radiologists.
What will you take away from WBCC 2020?
